Best to mask off all sections you don't want paint specifically around the rotor to make sure nothing gets into the windings of the motor. Just remember you will want to give it a light primer before painting to help promote adhesion onto the plastic surface.

Alright, thank you for your help. I'll remember this if I do decide to paint any of those parts.

So I was wondering if it's safe to paint radiator fins? And if not is it then safe to paint the cover, or even the fans?

The fins are best not to be painted as it can affect the cooling performance.  Many manufacture will only dust the front edge of the fins to give it a black or colored look but further in the fins are still bare copper or aluminum so that would be best if you wanted to color them.

As for fans you can paint them long as the coating is even and thin.

Alright thank you very much. I'm guessing I can just cover the rgb part of the fan with some cardboard and spray paint the rest of the fan?
