Go to solution Solved by Dujith,

The case will most likely have a 19 pin connector that will connect to your motherboard, just check if it has the 3.1 19pin connector on it.

If i buy a case with usb type-c. But my motherboard doesn't have usb type-c. Is there an easy way to possibly put an usb 3.1 to usb 3.1 type-c adapter in there.

look on ebay for an adapter cable of some sort, or some extension (if you have usb type-c in the back on the io shield)

search for the connector types and add adapter  or extension ...

ex usb type-c to usb header adapter  or something like this would give you these\

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Silverstone-CP14-USB3-0-Internal-19Pin-Header-to-USB-Type-C-20Pin-Key-A-Adapter/223669825134?hash=item3413c2ae6e:g:zdwAAOSwtO5dgaPY

https://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-3-1-Front-Panel-Socket-to-USB-3-0-20Pin-Header-Male-Adapter-for-Motherboard/153398073036?hash=item23b73cd6cc:g:qmAAAOSwddpcd4E0

If your case's  usb type c has that 10gbit connector type, then these adapters would get the type-c connector working but at 5g speeds (regular usb 3.0)
