Best way to backup programs in Windows 10?

Shantanu08

I'm soon going to shift from an i3 6100 to Ryzen 7 3700x so I'm aware of the fact that i'll have to re-install windows (because motherboard change) and I may or may not be able to go boot to win 10 from the old partition. So what's the best way to backup my old windows 10 partition so that at least i'll get all programs, their settings and registries seamlessly transferred to my newly partitioned Win 10?

Any extra tips for upgrading from an Intel processor to AMD will be appreciated, same for Nvidia to AMD because I'm thinking of switching from GTX 1060 3GB to RX 5700

It might just work tbh. These days windows is pretty good at it.

I think you just need to uninstall any intel drivers / programs and shutdown, replace motherboard = win? :D
