Pc performance

SleepingGiant

Hello!

I'm asking about why is my pc instantly got slower, like really slow.

Currently i am playing ac:unity which is playable the first time i played it. Then after a week the game just started to do this 20-24fps(ingame fps)(normal was around 55-60fps) drop for no reason.

I tried changing all the setting to low and changed the monitor resolution. Like even in dota 2 the fps drop is really visible.

I've tried installing the latest nvidia driver, update windows(10).

@ddennis002

They pass the minimum requirements.

Normal temps(for me) from both cpu and gpu.

Not just ac:unity, even my other games are suffering from fps drop for no reason

@Wingfan

Not sure. I was playing it smoothly a while ago now it's just shitty. The total progress for me in the game is 1% therefore the graphics should not really be more intense than before.

Two likely reason. 1) Microsoft released another super-buggy Windows update. 2) GPU driver update is buggy. Solution suggestion: revert version or two back with GPU drivers.

@LogicalDrm

Might be the win update. I've only updated my gpu drive because the game started this mess. *blames bill gates*

That's bit harder to fix. If you have restore point before last update, then that's option.
