Hi guys,

I am on my way in building my very first gaming PC, I started purchasing some parts early this year and already got a Corsair RM 550x for a power supply. I kindly ask for your suggestions if this would work with my planned parts or should I sell it and buy a EVGA SUPERNOVA 650 G1+. Thank you in advance.

Also, I am open to any suggestions to any part change for more optimised build.

CPU : AMD RYZEN 5 3600
CPU COOLER : COOLER MASTER MASTERLIQUID LITE 240
MOTHERBOARD MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX

RAM : 16GB 3200 CL 14 DDR4 or 16GB 3600 CL 18,17 DDR4 ( No CL 16 available in my country for a 3600)
GPU : Still waiting for a RADEON RX 5700 XT AIB partner CARD

STORAGE : 1 TB WESTERN DIGITAL CAVIAR BLUE + SAMSUNG 970 EVO NVME M.2 250GB

The RMx is plenty - your build only needs around 300-350W under full load

That would work with a 450watt, not saying I recommend one to anyone. lol

Yes, even in terms of durability.

Looks good, performance and durability isn't. Doesnt beat big air coolers, often fials (either pump dies or outright starts leaking)

Thanks guys! Just a little bit worried since it is my first time and some sites and reviewers mentioned that an AIB 5700 XT needs like 600-650 watts.

Thank you for all the feedback, I already purchased the m.2 ssd sadly. I kindly ask what would you recommend for 3600 cooler.

There's no truth to that. An overclocked 5700 XT pushes 250W or so. Even if all your stuff is overclocked you'd struggle to reach 450W of continuous power draw

It could go as cheap as Deepcool Gammaxx 400, if you want better looks then maybe CM Hyper 212 Black or Deepcool Gammaxx GT. Dont need much for 75w heat output from the CPU.

Thank you for your recommendations, I kindly ask if you could possible recommend Gammaxx L240T 240mm for future possible CPU upgrade?

In just benchmarks it should be ok with 3950x, as for durability... I can't find evidence on whether it's long-lasting or not, even in Chinese sites.
