Hi guys, I'm running a  Fx-6300, with an Asrock 980DE3/U3S3. I'm using the NZXT Respire T20 at the moment.

I've overclocked it to 4.0 ghz and ran prime95 on it, and the min was 19C and the max was 60C. It's averaging at around 55 when it's running.

Is this a good, safe overclock?

I would not reccomend overclocking on an Asrock board. if you start noticing any while from coils revert back as your VRM's cant take it.

But anyway... there isint really a "good OC" its all dependant on the chip its self, somebody may get a better or wrose OC with the same setup. its all luck.

Quack 🦆

19C as minimum sounds like your motherboard is reading the values wrong unless your room temp is like 5C. The temperature of your processor cannot be lower than your ambient temps, it is just impossible. Use AMD Overdrive to check the CPU temps

Yeah as stated by above post, that 19c is worrying.

What is the temp inside the room?
