YouTube thumbnails wrong colour (low contrast)

YouTube thumbnails seem to be lower contrast than before. I haven't tweaked any colour settings or stuff like that, just noticed this lately.

Anyone else have this issue, or is this issue at all and this is how it's supposed to look?

They look normal to me, here's some screenshots I took of them for comparison

strange, I have no clue why your thumbnails are looking off
