Get rid of Cortana but keep Search box?

Hey so once in a while I click on the little microphone 'ask cortana' thing on accident when trying to click search. I'm then startled by the text-to-speech voice, which is pretty annoying. Does anyone know of a way to get rid of this without disabling the search box all together?

EDIT: I just realized I should probably clarify that I'm aware that 'Show Cortana Button' mostly fixes my issue, but I'd prefer to see the actual search box if possible.
