I have seasonic focus plus 550w .   Ryzen 2600 , 1060  16 gb ram , b450 tomahawk.. 1 ssd and 1 hdd. Question is about the fan on this psu. This psu have a option for fan less (hybrid) mod and normal mode . On their site it say when using hybrid option fan should have to spin when using 30% of psu power. I tested cpu and gpu with fulmark and aida 64 in same time to see will fan spin. And fan does not spin at all for like 20 minutes. After 20 minutes i can feel psu is a little hot on the outside . And only then fan spin for like a second , two, then stop for couple of seconds  and process repeat . On 'normal' mode fan spin normally(all the time).

they get in the way of each other, only use one of them at a time.

human touch is an inaccurate measure of whether or not a PC component is getting too hot.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Power Draw for this system is only about 300 Watts under load.  Your PSU is doing what it should.

You are fine with a 500watt as well.  On idle you use 120 to 140 watts.  When gaming close to 400watts.  So you have head room and what not.

Yeah I love hamburgers!

@MasterxDark Your PSU is fine.  Hybrid mode will kick the fan on and off as needed. If you really want to map power draw get a Kill a Watt meter and see what you're drawing. Or if you prefer to have the fan spinning all the time keep it in 'normal' mode.

I was asking why the fans are not spinning at all when i am using hybrid mode under full load. On their site it say when psu is in use 30% or more  fans should have to spin. And for me they spin only for like a 1,2 second then stop and they dont even start to spin on start of the test only later after 10 minutes . Mine question is does cpu fan spin when its in use 30% or more  or when psu is too hot ? Just to add normal fan mode work well normal ,fans always spin . I tested mine system with 3d mark too and fans did the same thing .

So fans spinning  for 1,2 seconds is normal? it spins for 1,2 seconds then stop for like 2,5 seconds then do it again for 1.2 seconds . I have this system for  almost 10 months now ,never had any issues but i just wanna be sure ^^ . I dont have card that draw more power so i did not test with that . And mine room is not that hot (i like it that way ) . Just to add normal mode fans spin all the time , which is fine .

you've just found the downside of semi-passive modes, that's why i prefer to keep them spinning

seasonic has enough issues with focus, but this isn't one of them

So this is normal ? @LukeSavenije .I normally  use pc for youtube ,browsing and games like hearthstone so .I dont think i am maxing  cpu and gpu like ever . So i am just interested is this normal. Tnx for help bdw !

it's fine

if you don't want to keep letting it spin up and down, just use the normal fan config

and it depends a bit on the revision, but focus has unrelated problems to this

if you bought it in 2017-2018, you're fine as long as you don't put a high peak power gpu on it

if you bought it in 2018-2019 you'll see some horrible ripple when it's overloaded at about 120% according to pceva, but as long as you're below that, it should be fine

I'm in complete agreement with you about semi-passive.   Just keep it spinning.  Low speed 120mm+ are all near silent at low speed.
