windows update KB4512941 is causing cpu lag

hi guys windows update kb4512941 is reportedly causing a high cpu usage even in idle state

it's doing the same with me and i can't uninstall it by any means

is there any way to remove it without reinstalling windows?

Yeah, this is a known problem. 

 

 

Looks like WindowsCentral has a guide for fixing this, either by uninstalling the update or by doing a registry edit.

Oh, it seems like this is the first time you do an OS Build update so there's no other build to fall back onto, that's why you can't uninstall it

this means ive to do a clean install of windows!
