I'm looking for an ATX case that has non-windowed side panels, supports 280mm radiators (such as an NZXT Kraken X62), and is not too hard for me to work with (easy to attach panels/easy to clean). I've been looking online and I can't seem to find a case that has both support for 280mm rads AND non-windowed side panels. If one such case doesn't exist, I guess I can live with a windowed side panel, especially if the hardware I plan to put in it has problems with RGB lighting, but I guess I can use it like a gaming PC from the 2000s... Thanks.

or any case with a side panel window and some black spray paint would do

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

I second this. Anything in the Define or Meshify lines would be perfect for what you're after.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

What's your budget/country for the PC build? Or do you already have parts? Because the NZXT coolers are fairly overpriced given that they're the same as most other AIOs.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I have most of what I need. I have problems (that I can't fix) with RGB lighting in my ASUS PRIME X470-PRO and NZXT Kraken X62, after I updated the BIOS to the latest version, but they still work for what they're meant to do and I plan to use them in a streaming build, which is one reason why I'm looking for a case with non-windowed side-panels and support for 280mm rads (the other reason is that I have a spare PSU with ketchup/mustard cables). I plan to upgrade to a new, non-ASUS X570 board and possibly a Ryzen 3000-series CPU for my gaming system. I also have spare fans, graphics card (GTX 960) and 1TB SSHD, already, so that leaves me with memory, SSD, capture card, and a case (with what I'm looking for) for my streaming system. And yes, I would like those to be budget-priced, and I live in Canadaland.

I'll take a look at that case and see if I can find it here in Canuckland. :)

What about the be quiet! Pure Base 600? It looks pretty good for what I'm looking for: support for 280mm rads AND ODDs as a bonus. What about its ease of use? (front panel removal, dust filters)

Horrible air flow.

You could just get an 011 Dynamic and do whatever you want to the case.

I'm considering that. Steve's air-cooled build looks pretty good in that case, even without the RGB, but I think I'm going for the Define C, for now.

I have a few questions:

  • Is it OK for me to use an air cooler with my Ryzen 2600 CPU for a separate streaming PC?
  • Are there be quiet! cases that have good air flow? (and has what I'm looking for?)
