Razer has quality issues also putting high end component in a small chassis without proper cooling will reduce the its lifespan. So i would avoid it.

The Alienware is far better. The processor itself is a tad faster, Dell's QC is better than Razer's (which is a low bar), the cooling is 'loud' but effective, and it has great battery life for a gaming laptop (which is to say average at best).

The m17 is the better option. Better cooling, specs, larger screen, better quality and overall build
