About a beginners guide for custom loops.

I am completely inexperience in custom loops. Is there a complete / systematic guide i can find or buy (e.g loop design / measurement, part selection ,leak testing, installation, safe drainage, maintenance) ?

Most tutorial i find emphasize on some details only instead. 

 

And about the risk for skipping the soft tubing into hard line, how big is that for a cautious beginner?

this is fine, i would recommend it. no amount of soft tubing experience will prepare you for the first time you do hardline.
