Hello Linus tech tips forum users,

 

Who here plays on ultrawide and what games? And how are you liking it?

 

Just finished my new gaming pc:

Ryzen 3700x and RTX 2080

 

And I am looking to upgrade my monitor. I originally planned to buy the LG 34GK950f but I am really torn by the games I play.

Mostly: FPS games like Apex legends, CSGO, Battlefield 5, New Call of Duty modern warfare once it comes out
and the occasional tomb raider, assassins creed, guildwars 2

 

Would you recommend the LG 34GK950f (3440x1440 @144Hz) ultrawide or the LG 27GL850 (2560x1440 @ 144Hz)?
