Cleaning the cooling system

My pc has been standing in over a year and when i was about to use it again the cooling water didnt look that good. Will this have to be changed and cleaned, or can it be used like this?

If the tubing is suppose to be clear you will very much want to clean out everything before using the system again. The waterblock is probably good and clogged. The system will overheat very quickly.

 

If you intend to not use a system for a very long time you should really drain and disassemble the loop prior to storage.
