While watching videos about some budget gaming pc it made me want to get one, so while browsing Facebook marketplace I came across a 25$ Antec 1200 case with the fan. So here's my question, as I'm buying a case from 2008 and not financially available to get some new parts, I was wondering what are the best parts for the computer in the 2008-2010 budget range. I already have a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and hdd with windows 8(which I can soon upgrade to a sdd hopefully. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place. Thanks for helping

What's your budget/country?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

As others have stated the used market really depends on where your located.
But I don't recommend a 2008-2010 computer at all. If your in the US, start looking around for computers used in business like the dell optiplex, you can get them on ebay/amazon etc.. for pretty cheap. Under $100 many of the times.
