Does Linus program in any programming language?

This might be random, but I just want to know if he is fluent in something like c++ since he seems very tech savvy.

I highly doubt it. He’s pretty tech savvy from a lay mans perspective, but he went to school for

business, I believe. 

 

I wouldn't be surprised if he learned some Visual BASIC or something in high school - if so, I’d be surprised if he remembered much beyond “hello world”. 

 

But I could well be wrong.

If you meant Linux Torvald then yeah. He codes in C for the Linux kernel.

The stuff Linus knows: business, videography, IT, etc. 

 

A lot of his knowledge is superficial. He knows enough to get things done and to delegate to people who are specialists. 

 

If Linus wanted to become a specialist in any one area he probably could. Here and now he's a generalist. 

I’d argue Linus doesn’t know that much about IT either. He’s certainly had to get his feet wet dealing with server issues, etc, that the business encounters though. 

 

I’d guess he could do 1st Level Helpdesk tech support well enough.
