Why is nobody talking about IBM POWER going open source?

I mean seriously, this thing is HUGE, this threats RISC-V, opens an alternative to ARM, gives Huawei a decent ISA for developing royalty-free in house CPUs and other 5G equipment and so on. And I can't believe I only found two articles about it.

PowerPC died in 2005.

This is not about PowerPC, the consumer market is irrelevant, POWER is a high performance and highly versatile Architecture made for HPC, the two most powerful supercomputers use POWER9

I thinks it's amazing. My dream is to be using fully open source software running on fully opensource hardware. x86 is getting old and crusty, we need something to take its place.

Linus mentioned about it in a CES video months ago. It's not as popular as RISC-V though.
