Where to add the "mute" switch?

Update:

So I got this button from an electrician so I think it will work, he said all channels are separate until you switch it on and I thought it will do the job just fine, so I haven't tested it yet but I think it'll work. Thanks everyone for their help again :)

This is true, except for balanced signal's which each have a dedicated ground.

Main speaker setup is now;

 

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

 

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)
