Since i have upgraded my pc about a year ago, my os has not been fully activated naturally. It is Windows 10 Home N 64 bit which i have. i am thinking of getting a windows 10 pro oem key and just wondering if it would upgrade automatically for me or as i am using a non activated version of windows 10 home n, will it not work? TIA

is it a prebuilt pc? if so there is probably a Windows 7 key on a sticker on the side/back which will work for windows 10, if not you can buy a pro key for cheap on eBay and windows should automatically activate pro and upgrade your install.

why no dark mode?

built the pc myself and windows 10 home n was the first an only os on it. will give a go with going onto ebay and getting said key.

AFAIK the install is same for all versions except maybe Win10 Go (former basic/starter). So activating with Pro key should just unlock all of the features.
