How would i go about cleaning this up as i dont have any of the regular stuff you would use like alcahol wipes and its in the pcie slot a bit

K got all of it ecept one tiny bit on sofe surface contacts and the pcie slot its IN one of the pins up against the inside of the slot

Very, very carefully. Don't like jam anything in there. Use high percentage Isopropyl Alcohol and a BRAND NEW toothbrush if you need to actually get into the slot. Also make sure to let it dry for at least an hour.

Most people will probably find a way to disagree with this, but I've been fine just inserting and removing a card and cleaning the connector of the card each time.

You should clean it out before the thermal paste dries up...
