Hey everyone,

I'm doing a complete rebuild to upgrade my old rig from FX 8120 Black. I'm thinking of going with a Ryzen 2700x on an ASRock X470 Master. Here is my PC Parts Picker list.

CPU     AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
Motherboard     ASRock X470 Master SLI/AC ATX AM4 Motherboard
Memory     Team T-Force Delta RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
Storage     Team L5 LITE 3D 480 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Power Supply     Thermaltake Smart Pro RGB 750 W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
Case Fan     Deepcool RF 120 (3 in 1) 56.5 CFM 120 mm Fans

What graphics card, or alterations, would you nice folks recommend to go in this rig assuming mixed workload, including gaming and media creation. I do like the "Bling" of the RGB so I would like the option if available, though it's not a deal breaker.

Thanks everyone for your input.

What's the total budget and country? If you're mostly gaming you don't need 32Gbs of RAM. Would suggest a better SSD, and power supply maybe.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I'll recommend a R5 3600 over a 2700x. And for the gpu I'll recommend a 5700/xt

I'm in Canada. I will be using for mostly gaming, but i do some CG rendering and am looking at taking courses in Graphic Design and Game Design. I'd like to keep under the $1200 mark, if I can.

You probably want a card with more VRAM depending on what software you're using

To get higher than the 8GBs offered on most consumer cards you'll have to get a used Vega Frontier Edition GPU, or a used 1080ti, the 1080ti is faster but appears to be more expensive on average
