What cooler?

LHRaBBiT
Go to solution Solved by flibberdipper,

DRP4 will smack the Freezer 34 around like nobody's business, so that's a hands down victory.

If by water cooling you mean slapping a 240/280mm AIO in, then you'll get pretty similar results to the DRP4. If you mean a full loop, then depending how hard you go you could see either similar performance or notably better.

What cpu cooler should be best for my ryzen 5 3600x? I was thinking about be quiet! Dark rock pro 4 or arctic freezer 34 esports. I want to get my system as cool and ambient silent as possible.

P. S. Maybe water cooling would be best solution for low temperatures and ambient?

I was going to get the DRP 4, it was too tall.

Picked up the DR TF.

Works great on a 6700k.

I would only do water if I had to, but it does generally have a bigger bling factor.

I turned it so it wouldn't occlude the RAM.

The DRP4 is easily better and hard to go wrong with if you're aiming for quiet.

There are probably cheaper alternatives that aren't very far off if you're looking to save some money though.

What case and ram are you using?

Where are you shopping / located? Budget?

Why did you choose 3600x instead of 3600? Do you have option to switch to plain non-x 3600?

Life is really challenging. I don't always suceed: )

Yeah I will switch to non-x variant as I looked up the extra price isn't worth it, thanks for the heads up.
