im using soft tubing so no problem there. Just hope that the company can come back to me with an answer relatively quickly so i can fix the loop?

Edit: I found a datasheet for the anticorro-fluid here. You think it will be fine?

That’s a Benzotriazole based fluid so it shouldn’t have any issues with compatibility.

For preparing blocks if they are new usually a good flush flush and rinse with distilled will do, main thing is cleaning out the rads and giving them a final rinse with distilled before assembly.

Hello, im about to redo my cooling loop and change liquid, tubes and add gpu block and i just want to make sure i get the right stuff, i'll need to clean the system of all the old color and i thought about getting this: https://www.coolerkit.se/shop/cleaning-agent-sysclean-2610p.html and for the new loop i was going to go with just distilled water and this: https://www.coolerkit.se/shop/antikorrosions--och-algvatska-2574p.html this will work fine right? or am i missing something?

The cleaner should be alright as most require a complete flush of the system afterwards before filling with fluid. As for the additive that solely depends on the components of the loop, as the additive doesn't specify the MSDS or chemical composition we cannot say for sure that would be compatible. If you have an all copper loop without nickel I would be more inclined to say it would be ok but cannot say for certain.

I have a waterblock from EK which is nickel plated and 2 copper radiators. but I’ll contact the company and see what they say and what it’s made of!

My best guess is it’s a ethylene glycol or Benzalkonium chloride which should be compatible but best to make sure so nothing bad occurs.

Just note if it is ethylene gylcol fluid that PETG hardline tubing will not play well with it.

For the record if you are using soft tubing... chances are it will be stained by whatever color coolant you had in there. So while the cleaner will remove most of the buildup and gunk in your loop... it won't do anything to get the staining out of the tubing. So if you are not going back with the same color you might want to just replace the tubing too.

The tubing is being replaced as well! I just want to make sure that all the blocks etc are clean before I do anything!

Depending on how comfortable you are with taking things apart I normally take mine apart and give them a good cleaning with some dawn dish soap then rinse them thoroughly. I then assemble my loop and flush them with distilled water before filling with my mixture of choice.

I’ve taken apart the cpu block before and the gpu block is brand new so that won’t need to be cleaned. But I figure that running the cleaning liquid and then a rinse with water will do the trick!

All the parts have been cleaned so now I’m all set! As always, thank you for the help! :)
