People with more money or less money have different value ratios for price/performance and at some point having the best is easily within reach or reason.

Its overpriced.

 

This was a move to shift price tiers up one by nvidia to compensate for there low yields on the TI. 2080ti yields were so low the only way to sell them was to make price them like titans. So they did. Pricing moved up one notch because they dont wanna lose money and there is no other option for highend gpus.

 

That being said i still bought 2. I usually picked up two titans so the price was really a shocker.

It's really expensive, I picked up my GTX 1080 from EVGA's B-Stock a year ago before RTX for $299.99. 2080ti's are what like $1000-1200 still?

 

At 1080p/1440p depending on if you have an overclocked 9900k or not, you might see another 30% more fps if you're lucky. At 4K however you might see up to double the fps.

 

If you can afford it, you plan to play games on 4K high settings or run something like VR where low frame rates could make you sick. Yeah, it's definitey worth it if you need the most performance you can get. Otherwise, no there's far more competitively priced cards to their level of performance.
