Yeah, while I can't even load a server.

Using wired internet (60up 60down and <5ms) and a very decent computer (check my profile).

The game is far from stable, and even if it were to be stable, it's still broken to the damn core.

Don't base the state of the game on your experience.

I should have said poor experience.

Tell that to all the others who can play the game just fine.

That's what I said, it is still broken inside. You can stay ignorant and you can certainly keep telling yourself that the game is release-worthy. But I am going to stand up and say that this game is nowhere near worth even 10 dollars.

You're one of those angry people who yell at DICE to "FIX THE GAME", aren't you?

My game never crashes, so sucks for you.

I'm a programmer... why would you even assume such thing....

EA did not give them enough time, that's not DICE's fault, but it does not justify a broken product.

This game should not have been released.

I think that's common knowledge by now. And the game was a mess at release, yes.

At the time of release I could play it on a 5570, when I assembled my new computer I could play it, too,... until about a month ago after some patch.

Either the game freezes, the game disconnects or battlelog disconnects. IF the server actually did manage to load, that is.

It's still a mess.

I can't agree with you if I don't experience any of the problems you're personally having. So we'll agree to disagree.

It really isn't. I still get crashed with that DirectX Function Failed error message. And the graphics drivers restart. I didn't overclock my r9 280X, and mantle didn't change it (k we gotta wait for the drivers), but still, it is not really playable for more than 30 minutes.

who cares...

Don't buy the game, there's a good chance you won't be able to play even with a legitimate copy.

Apart from the occasional Bullshit kill that the other team appears to get due to poor netcode the game is otherwise, atleast for me 99% stable. I've crashed 3 times in my 90 hours, 1 of which was due to the GPU driver crashing. Now I get issues where I can't connect occasionally but a restart of Chrome fixes that.

Luckier than me =-/

Let's say that you are running the game stable. You do agree the internals/core need work, right? What if I told you that your crosshair does not indicate where you aim? What if I told you that your bullets penetrate an enemy body, but don't always do damage? What if I told you that the enemy around the corner, is actually standing right in front of you in their perspective?

1. has been fixed, 2 and 3 are netcode issues and are being worked on, every game has bugs, it's unavoidable, it will happen.

There's a difference between bugs and design flaws, though.

Why does every BF4 related thread must turn into one guy saying that game doesn't work and others trying to say otherwise. Major derailing here.

To OP, yes, you need to buy atleast basic game to play at all. No demo, SP or anything before you do.

If you are a programmer I think you should understand how much of an undertaking a game like BF4 is. Even if they had more time, you can't predict every problem and when they arise they can be nearly impossible to find and fix. So while I agree the release should have been delayed (I was still nowhere near over BF3 with all the DLCs even at almost 400 hours in), but don't be too critical about the game no one forced you to buy. I trust DICE and EA to fix these problems and meanwhile I still have a great time playing with a crash or two every few hours, no big deal.
