Hello All. I'm looking for backup software for my whole network.

My network consists of:

  1. 2 DCs and an MDT server
  2. 2 Linux based servers. (PiHole, Pfsense)
  3. 11 Windows VM Machines (6 Windows Servers, 5 Windows 10) 2 are SQL servers, 2 are CA servers and the others are running RDS. The others are just for testing.
  4. 3 PCs, 5 laptops and 7 phones.

I'd like the backup jobs to run at 2AM when no one is using their devices.

Are you looking to backup specific files or entire snapshots of the systems?

Either way I would suggest something like a QNAP or Synology and then combine that with the Backblaze business plan. I think with about 4TB of storage + ~500GB of transfers each month I pay around $20-$25. I currently backup snapsnots of all my machines + other important files to the QNAP as a central repo and have that do the backup to Backblaze

I think you could also do what I mentioned with Backblaze for each system as well, I just haven't dabbled with that yet as I prefer a single central repo :)

Veeam is something we use for the servers. As for the laptops/pc/phones they all have their data synced so backup up the servers = backup of them.

I'd like to have one application. Having multiple applications will be too much to manage

I only create snapshots of my servers. As for PCs, laptops and phones I only backup files. Unfortunately getting a QNAP or similar will be too expensive for me.
