unlocking bootloader xperia U

I'm trying to unlock my bootloader of my xperia U but it won't stay in fastboot mode.

can anyone give me some tips for installing a custom rom?

You are best asking this question on XDAdevelopers website. there is a section for that phone with the questions probably already answered.

I highly recommend that you don't as there is a known problem on xperia devices that when you do unlock the bootloader you loose all functionality of the camera until you have relocked it.
