What’s the best cpu for my system

Hey people been doing my own scrap yard build on £300 gbp so far I got a rgb case with 500w psu For £45 and a Asus P8H61-I Mini ITX 1155 motherboard  with i5 Quad 2400s &  2* 4gb Corsair XMS ram sticks for £50 for storage I got a intel 160gb ssd for £16.99 and a western digital 500gb hard drive for £8 now I’m looking for the best graphics card to use that won’t severely bottleneck the i5 but still giving the best performance. I was thinking a Evga gtx 1050ti 4gb but want people’s opinions many thanks !!!

quick tip, dont make people have to do maths to figure out how much you have to spend. Anyway get the RX 570, its about the same price and performs much better or if you want to go used you could probably find a 480/580 or better for the same

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

The title says "CPU" instead of "GPU"

RX 570 best price to performance, I doubt you have a power supply without an 8 pin connector

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad
