There are much better "gaming headsets" out there.

Such as the Steelseries H wireless.

Yup, PC360's all the way, best sound quality in gaming headsets, and doesn't cost an arm and face (MMX300, AG1, ADG1).

 

Astro A50's are not very detailed, and have loose boomy bass. Also, not very good value.

"The best" would probably be the ATH-ADG1, but not worth the hefty price tag over a PC 360.
