Pricing in the Philippines is a beast all its own, a friend of mine was telling me about the huge import taxes on electronics, like 50%. Also, last I recall the i7 7700k was somehow a reasonable price compared to something like the i5 8600k which would make for quite the 144 fps gaming PC.

for your budget, what are the prices available to you for:

i5 8600k

i7 7700k

Ryzen 5 3600

and motherboards to go with them:

Z370

Z270/170

B450

I think graphics cards make a little more sense, with availability of RX 580 and GTX 1060 6GB models being decent, though I wonder what new releases look like over there. How much would an RTX 2060 or RX 5700 run you?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

the i5 8600k the lowest I see is 10000($190.84)

i7 7700k is 9999($190.83)

and Ryzen 5 3600 is 10900($207.98)

an RTX 2060 would be $276.67 and RX 5700 is 360.62

I can also order in US and just ship it with a freight services I know that offers it to save money.

That makes the 8600K the best buy, unless Z170 and Z270 boards are super cheap. There's also the i7 8700 if you could potentially get a good deal and then you could get a cheaper B360 motherboard. Slap some DDR4 3000 in there and it would go really well.

The rtx 2060 would be my choice then.

Well that's not much higher than USD pricing actually. What are some of the other units at that price range you've seen?
