my internet adapter is weird

Can you give some more information on what adapter and router you're using? I assume you're referring to wi-fi.

my internet adapter is TL-WN823N v2 and my router is the stock xfinity router

Can you move it to another computer to check if the device is faulty or if it is a windows setting/motherboard issue?

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.
