Im currently looking for a laptop to use for my study engineering. The budget is around 900€. The requirements are that i can do 3d modeling, write essays, easily take it from home to school and maybe some light gaming. I currently still have my pc with an gtx 1070 and i5 6600k so the laptop isn't going to be my main rig for heavy workloads. The maximum size is 15,6 inches as thats what fits into my bag. I still have 8Gb sodimm ddr4 lying around to put into a laptop of needed. The laptop that i have found that fits these criteria the best is the acer nitro 5 AN515-54-51M5

With the gtx 1650 it should handle 3d/cad pretty well.

There are however other configurations and im here to ask if those might be better or if there are other laptops i should be taking a look at.

The Netherlands, wheight and batterylife are not main factors since i already carry a large backpack and get to sit near electrical outlets most of the time. Of course there are limits but as long as it can practically be used I'm fine.
