Cant install windows on notebook

OvidiuHiei

hello I have a notebook that i got from work and i cant install windows on it, when it boots up it always gets the message that says there is no bootable device or image, then i try with my win 10 USB that ive used on another PC just this week to install a fresh copy of windows but nothing happens, when i select the USB as boot on the order nothing happens when i turn on the PC.

Ive never formatted a notebook before so idk if its the same way as a good ol PC...

screenshtos of the stuff i see and specs below:

on the bootable order sometimes theres also the USB listed there, but i couldnt get it to appear when i tried to SS

Have you tried resetting the BIOS settings to factory defaults?

Make sure secure boot is disabled. Try reformatting your USB.

First, I would reset the settings to factory defaults, then there should be a setting somewhere in the bios that enables secure boot, every bios is different so I would look it up for your specific model of laptop.
