Replacing fans on a Zotac 1080 AMP!

Abra Cadaver

For the last year or so, one of my GPU fans has been rattling and making an awful noise.  I finally got around to ordering replacement fans on ebay.  The problem is, I can't find any tear-down videos or instructions for my specific card.  I found info on the AMP Extreme variant, but that's it.  Does anyone have any experience or any advice on how to get to the fans?  I've never done any GPU disassembly before.  Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure if this card's fan + shroud assembly is seperated from the heatsink, but if it isn't you just unscrew everything on the backplate and the card will fall apart (thermal paste might stick the heatsink to the card, some twist and pull will do). If they are separated, then unscrew everything except the big 4 spring loaded screws around the GPU core will have the fan and shroud fall off. The fan itself should be hold on by some more screws onto the shroud, visible from the normally inward facing side.

If fan + shroud assembly is separate, you could also simply strap case fans onto the heatsink with some Nylon cable ties
