Best card for my cpu?

I'm wanting to upgrade my GPU, i've got an intel i5 2500k, 12gb ddr3 ram and currently a gtx 670, i'm wanting to upgrade my gpu and i'm not sure what the best card to get would be also considering my mother board only goes up to pcie 2.0, any suggestions would be great.

unfortunetly it'll be a long time before i could afford to upgrade everything, i'll look into costs, thanks

RX570/580 are great mid grade cards and dirt cheap.

I think he has a dual core CPU, I'd say a RX570 work be fine. IMO that CPU would bottleneck anything more powerful.

Fastest I'd still try will be the 1660, good value too. Low budget then RX570/580. Do check the PSU

The 2500 is very very similar to the 3470 (actually more power efficient iirc) which I have and that CPU is still relevant today in the high end titles I have today, its just not more then relevant lol.  I would say the RX 570 4gb is the best budget card for that CPU, especially used.
