Opera GX, is it a big deal?!

a Gaming browser sounds like a "Click Bait Bundle".

How does it perform? What makes it stand-out?

This isn't Tech News and does not comply with the Tech News posting guidelines.

The main features of the Opera GX browser which set it apart from other browsers are its RAM & CPU limiters which allow you to set a limit on the resources the browser can use, with the idea being it prevents from resource hungry browsers impacting your gaming performance. You can read more a bout it here: https://www.opera.com/gx#ram-cpu-limiters

I believe it also has a few other features like built in Twitch app notifications and such, but I believe the CPU & RAM limiters are its main 'gamer' feature.

Whether or not it works or if it is even necessary is another matter and might depend on how you use your system. If you're the sort of person that leaves 150 tabs open in the background playing youtube clips then the browser may help.

Do you need to limit RAM and CPU usage while gaming? If not then it's not a big deal.
Everything else seem similar to a normal Opera browser.
