So i got this motherbaord from a friend of mine with a power supply, but a while ago my dad actually openee the power supply because ha wanted to make something ou tof it and it didnt work, so he tried to put it all back together with tape and he put it away. Today, is aw the motherboard an di really wanted to see if it works. So i tried my best to reassemble the power supply and it worked fairly well, so now ive got some things set op and i really want to know if this is gonna explode or not :') to be clear, the motherbaord, the power supply and the little hard drive are all underneath a few books. Ive got my fire extinguisher right beside ne just in case it goes wrong

I havent plugged in the power cable yet because i want to be sure if what im doing is safe

Unless he removed anything from in there it is probably fine to POST but I would get a new PSU if you want to use the system for more than to dink around the BIOS

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

You don't need some fancy case or anything, go over all the cables once more to check that you haven't missed something like a CPU power connector or whatever
