i am having problem with 2 different monitors lcds. Its not a windows / software one because they behave the same on other pcs that i tried.

These are not new monitors both are of 1 year+ working fine.

- The 1st monitor is having a very low brightness on the left side of it and the right side is perfoming ok.From the moment it opens that is the behavior. You can see the screen contents but with very much effort even on full white background (brightness / contrast 100%)

- The 2nd one is working ok for some minutes....then it starts brighting very much so that you cant see anything (becoming all white and stays that way).

Do you have any clues as to how i can fix it or at least try? ( i mean what parts i may need capacitors, full panel etc)

Thank you

Sounds like a defect in the backlight or the backlit 'plate' if you can call it that. I do not know if lose screens use them, but you can open it up and see if you can replace the inverter.

This also sounds like a defective inverter.
