Good Afternoon,

I have recently used ASUS's Dual Intelligent Processors 5 software to auto-overclock my computer. I'm not a fan of how much hotter it is making it and its causing my CPU fans to run at 100% during games. I'm new to overclocking and don't want to mess anything up. What exactly do I need to do to restore everything back to default until I can get a new 360 rad cooler for my CPU? My computer also occasionally sounds like a USB is being unplugged and re-plugged which makes me think there is some kind of instability.

I'm running a Core i7 8700K, 16 GB ram, Asus maximum hero X Wifi motherboard, EVGA 120mm closed loop cooler, RTX 2080, 500Gb NVME Samsung 960 Evo, a 1TB and 2TB western digital black, and a 250GB SSD.

Never use software to overclock, remove the program first and then reset the BIOS and everything should be back to the way it was
