Curious as to why Corsair would utilize a CL18 3600 when AMD stated CL16 is the 'sweet' spot? I have a few months before I order and assemble the build... but all the tests I have seen states to look for a 3600 w/ lowest CL possible. I would like to stick w/ corsair but between what I have read b/t G.Skill's Samsung die's and the CL16 'sweet spot' I've been leaning that way.. but if I can stick w/ corsair with no noticeable difference.. I'd like to.

Reference GPU is currently a placeholder. Waiting for AIB.

Think of RAM like any other silicon.  Some silicon is better than others and can achieve greater speeds (and timings) than others.  So Corsair is selling CL18 because that's what the silicon can do.
