fps low?

ive been playing on my computer for a couple days and i have noticed that i'm getting pretty low fps. I'm just wondering if this is normal for the hardware i'm using. 

 

rtx 2070 8gb gigabyte

ryzen 2600x 6 cores 12 threads 

16 gb ram 3000 mhz

 

 

this is my first build and i'm just wondering if this is normal.

what do you mean by low fps and for what games?

what settings? what resolution?
