Psu buzzing sound

Hi! Just got a new Corsair rmx 750w psu but it makes a constant buzzing sound. Should I be worried?

Could just be some coil whine. Nothing to be afraid of.

if it is new, is making noises it shouldnt and you dont like that, return it

Is it under load or all the time? if it's under load it's not that unusual, however, I've run a 290x on an RM series PSU and didn't have any buzzing. If the 290x can't do it nothing can...

 

If it happens all the time that's certainly an issue. Record a video and send it to Corsair support and see what they think. They'll likely replace it for you.

I will check what I can do about it. And yes, it is making that noise even when the pc is off.
