Bottleneck

Hello, I've been posting quiet few topics asking questions about ram and gpu and what not, but I just want to know how bad would my 1660 TI bottleneck my Ryzen 3 1300x, if anyone had experience with it before?

Using a bottleneck calculator, and own personal opinion, I think it would be safe to say a 12-18% bottleneck would happen.

Completely depends on the game, resolution and graphical settings.

So, it should use a fair amount of the GPU like, 70-80 percent right?

By yes, you mean there will be one? I currently have old monitor 1366x768 and it is only using 40% of the GPU on ultra

Yes there will be one and it will be a bigger one than for most games.

Hmm yeah I also have 8x1 ram 2400hz tho and idk if that could have an impact or not since it's only ram

The 1300X will bottleneck the 1660ti quite a bit, especially on 1366x768

Bottleneck calculators don't work because the extent of a bottleneck varies heavily on what the machine is doing.

At least 2x4 3000MHz ram, at minimum.
