Hi everyone!

I plan to build a PC in the DAN A4.

These components are set (I already bought them and I will re-use them):
Corsair SF600 Platinum, RTX 2070, 8GB RAM, 970 Evo, Asrock z370m-itx/ac mini itx.

My question is that the only AIO that fits in the A4 is the Asetek 645LT, which is a 92mm AIO, so which CPU would you recommend for this build? I will use this cute little monster to game (mainly strategy and MMORPG titles, so I am fine with stable 75 FPS), and sometimes I want to stream as well in 2560*1080. I am thinking about an i7-8086k with delid, because it is only a 6 core CPU, so it should be colder than the i9-9700k. Since I have the mobo, my only options are 8th and 9th gen Intel CPUs. My current CPU is an i3-8100, so I need to change it, because it is not capable of streaming. Thanks for the advices!

~Edit: 120mm AIO does fit in the A4, but it is worse than the 92mm, because of the spacing. Also, a 120mm AIO takes up a lot of space from the GPU, so I would need to buy a smaller GPU as well...

I would get an i7 and just leave it at stock speeds.

If you can put a fan in there, get a fast AF one to cool it better too

Even a 3900x/9900k can be cooled by that 92mm AIO but I would recommend a 9700k, the physical cores are better for gaming from what I've heard and it runs cooler than the 8086k

Low profile aircooler and then sell the z370 board and grab an r7 3700x.

 

Should not change the money expenditure while being easier to cool.

But the 9700k cant be easily delidded as proposed in the OP.

 

And the ammount of heat needing tl be extracted is higher
