Hey i am just asking myself would it be worth it to upgrade from a gtx1080 to a radeon 5700 tx i have a 4k 144 herz Monitor and play alot of e sport games like Lol/csgo but sometimes i play decent games aswell and i want to be ready for Borderlands 3 / cyberpunk etc. I know the best gpu for this would be the 2080 ti its not like i could not buy it its just like i dont feel spending 1200 euros on a gpu thats gonne be outdated in like a year when next gen comes around with 10 or 7 nm Radeons/Nividias so would it be worth it. A radeon 5700 tx is like 400 euros in germany and i could sell my gtx 1080 for like 250/300 Euros. Depending on the Game the rx performes alot better but in some games its even with my 1080 so i really dont know haha would love to hear some opinions :)

i would just keep the 1080 and OC'd probably around 2060 Super performance and RX5700, so RX5700xt is sure going to be better.

Its a strix card so its already running at 2ghz right now mhh i am really not sure prob ur right holding on to that gtx1080 is the better idea and just wait for the big cards i just hope i can run borderlands 3 in 4k like at decent settings haha

2060 Super

It can't do shit for 4K

At least 2070/2070 Super, you get really decent settings in 4K not crazy FPS though, but if you drop the video settings you can get there

idk how much performance bump from a 1080 to 5700xt probably good enough for high 60fps but the thing is i dont really know 4k which kinda not good in its own way.

I just asked if it would be worth going from a gtx 1080 to a 5700rx for 4k gaming ^^ i dont care about 2070/2070 Super they are overpriced shit here in ger they cost 600 xDDD while the 5700rx is only 400 with almost the same perf then a 2070

So the rx5700 will give 60 fps too xD its as fast if even not faster in some titles just without raytracing what i dont need cause it makes ur fps go from 60 to 20 at 4k and costs 200 less and like i said i only ASKED if that upgrade from a gtx1080 to a 5700 xt would be worth i dont care about the 2000 series from nivida cause its just horrible price/perf and trust me i am not a amd fanboy all my card where gtx cards 680 780 980 1080 but this time i wont go for them cause like i said the 2000 series is just awful in my eyes ^^
