Hi my name is Trey and my friend attempted at building a gaming pc but gave up and gave me the parts I noticed he is missing ram and a hard drive but besides tho problems I wanted to persevere and hack away at this project till I completed it. The parts I received is a AB350-gaming mother board. A 1tb we blue ssd. A 1060 to single graphics card I believe some of them he didn’t give me the boxes for. He also didn’t give me the mother box manual. I have a three pack of four pin Corsair rgb fans. And a cooler master case. I have already installed the mother board into the case as ATX pins. Everything went smoothly till I trided find where I plugged in the pins for the front panel stuff (power on, off etc) and could find it. I would just like some help if someone could. If you request my email please let me know I need help. (Edit I forgot to mention I got a AMD ryzen 5)

Looks like you won't need a hard drive then

On the manufacturer's website you can always download a PDF manual for your motherboard and find out the pins

Which one? If it's second gen there's the slight possibility of you needing some extra steps.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

on most boards, there are little markings near the connectors. try looking for small markings that say stuff like "-PWR SW+" (Power Switch) and "-RST SW+" (Reset Switch). make sure to line them up correctly, and not plug them into the wrong places. on the cables that are connected to the case you should look for a small black arrow at the tip. this arrow indicates that the side that it is on should be connected to the side where the "+" symbol is on the motherboard.

Yes, it's compatible.

The pwr_switch header for the case connects to the power switch pins in the group of pins labeled f_panel.

It's the top right of the 9pins and is color coded in red.

I just couldn’t find a place to plug them in because I’m total the front panel has 8 holes and I could only find plugs with 9 pins. Also the car says usb where the pins are what does that mean and is that where I plug them in

Car?

Do you see the f_panel label? The group of headers are at the top right of it or above the f_panel layout diagram on the motherboard.
