You can find a memory support list on the motherboard manufacturers website. I've heard that Crucial Ballistix ram works well with Gigabyte boards which is why I ordered some for mine. Works flawlessly.

The MB supports:

2 x DDR4 DIMM sockets supporting up to 32 GB of system memory

Dual channel memory architecture

Support for DDR4 3200(O.C.)/2933(O.C.)/2667/2400/2133 MHz memory modules

 

AMD processors benefits a lot from fast memory so i would probably go 2x8GB 3200mhz (see link below)
