Ok so I have been trying to do a bios update on my x570 Meg Ace MSI board, I am using their flashing tool in the bios but it says that it cant see my usb dirve. Im plugging it into the back of the computer in the port labeled for mflash. I have also tried other ports to no avail. The usb has nothing else on it except the bios files downloaded straight from the MSI site and extracted. What format does the USB need to be in? Could that be the issue?

Usually FAT32 or Exfat works best for Flash drives that have to work on all type of systems.

I have done a couple of BIOS updates on my Msi X370 board and I think the flash drive I use for that is ExFat.

Doest hurt to try though. Personally I never had an issue with Msi boards not seeing the flash drive..
