So I overclocked my 6700k to 4.7Ghz with a 4.6Ghz OC on the cache at 1.4v on ROG Hero VIII. I did single core OC and set core 1 to 4.8 Ghz. In the bios it says "Turbo Mode frequency 4.8Ghz. But it will only run at 4.7 Ghz despite showing that it's 4.8Ghz. What did I do wrong?

I'm using the TPU in the AI Suite to see the speeds each core is running at. It shows the core at 4.8Ghz but in the bottom monitor where you check each core and it shows the volts next to it the multiplier shows at 4.7. I've HWinfo, Cam and CPUID to also check. They shows it at 4.8Ghz but running at only 4.7Ghz.

You very rarely get the frequency you type in. I have 5GHz set all core but task manager shows 4.97 or so. I will say, that is a larger disparity than average. What does task manager report?

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

Wall Of Fame (Informative people/People I like): @Glenwing @DrMacintosh @Schnoz @TempestCatto @LogicalDrm @Dan Castellaneta
